We went to Marco's follow up clinic today at Children's. He did really well with everything. He did very well with the xray and with everything else. He was very social with the doctors saying hi, answering questions, being silly, and was very comfortable about the whole thing, which is a new thing. It made our visit so so much better and easier. It was so hard to see him cry/scream from the moment of walking into the hospital until we left, it was stressful, but this proved that our boy is growing up!!
Growth wise he is doing well, as always as Marco's rate! :) He is maintaining his curve and slowly getting really close to the weight curve. He has been on the curve for height and is even better now!! Yeah Marco!!! The nutritionist was really happy with what and how he eats, we just have to try and keep him eating as much as possible during the day and sneak in some extra 1-2oz of milk with a snack. His chest xray was perfect or as his surgeon said "boring". We like boring!!! :) His diaphragm was beautiful!!! His lungs were great and clear and his left lung grew in a yr. His xray is looking very much like a typical 3yr old child's xray, which is amazing!! He has been busy growing and staying strong and health, WTG!! :)
We even enjoyed the beautiful day by playing at the playground in between appts.
We even noticed his two bottom molars about to pop through in the xray.

So glad the clinic visit went well. It's always such a relief to get good (boring) news! Glad he handled it well and didn't get upset. That is so hard to watch! Can't wait til Sofie doesn't get so upset at appts. Love the CDH Warrior shirt. Marco rocks it well!! ;-0

This is wonderful! All the worry and everything is fine. I do it too! Glad he was social - and they love seeing him too!
